The announcement of the partnership between New Holland and BlueWhite was one of the big news stories of the summer. West Coast New Holland dealers now have the right to sell, distribute and service Bluewhite’s aftermarket autonomous kits.
I recently had the opportunity to meet Bluewhite’s Chief Business Officer, Alon Ascher, and asked him about the importance of partnerships with major OEMs.
“We started working individually with a few West Coast dealers, John Deere and New Holland (initially before the partnership), but the collaboration and partnership with OEMs led to a larger That means better performance at a more comprehensive cost and faster implementation time. We also work closely with dealers and people in New Holland to help with training and support this digital technology. and leveraging lessons learned from other products on how to bring an autonomous revolution to agriculture. Since this is something so new for everyone, we think it’s better to work together, and we’re happy with this partnership. They have a great team at their headquarters working in the field looking at ways to bring these great technologies to all growers, starting on the West Coast and on a broader scale.”
