If you use your Nothing earbuds on something other than your smartphone, you might find a new web app that lets you control them useful.
The “Ear (Web)” app is an unofficial app built by “RapidZapper” to control various settings of your Nothing and CMF earphones from your PC, Mac, Chromebook, or any other device with a compatible browser. can.
The app works through the Web Serial API, which Google supports in Chrome and is also supported in other Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Arc, and Brave. The app, available at ‘earweb.bttl.xyz’, requests permission to see the Bluetooth devices connected to your machine and can link with your Nothing earbuds to control things like ANC and equalizer.
Supported earbuds include Nothing Ear (1), Ear (2), Ear (Stick), Ear, Ear (a), CMF Buds Pro, CMF Buds Pro 2, and CMF Buds. Some others, such as the new Nothing Ear (open) and CMF neckband, are not yet supported.
This app is not official, so of course you have to be a little careful, but it comes from the same developer as the Ear (PC) app that debuted in March and received a lot of praise from the Nothing community.
