U.S. Representative Mike Flood of Nebraska will host the second annual Flyover FinTech Conference in Lincoln. The conference brings together business leaders and public officials to discuss topics related to financial technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity.
Held on Monday, October 21st, featured speakers include Kelly Lammers, Nebraska Department of Banking and Treasury Commissioner, Representative Andy Barr (Kentucky), and Representative Patrick McHenry, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. Includes Congressman (North Carolina).
The event will focus on Nebraska’s role in fintech and provide networking and discussion opportunities about the future of AI in financial services, housing, and the importance of cybersecurity in the digital environment.
The conference will feature a panel discussion on “Innovation in Nebraska” with Brian Ardinger, director of innovation at Nelnet. Claire Devney, Head of Fintech Engagement, FNBO. Megan Elliott, director of the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts; Paul Neuner, founder and CEO of Telcoin.
Another panel, “AI and Housing,” will include Hilary Halpern, director of public policy at Rocket Mortgage. Jonathan Lawless, Head of Home Ownership at Built Rewards. Mike de Vere, CEO of Zest AI and President of Zillow;
