The Pixel Buds web app, introduced last year for Chromebooks, now supports Mac and Windows.
mypixelbuds.google.com, previously limited to ChromeOS 127 and later, now works on macOS 14 Sonoma and later and Windows 11 and later. (One year ago it was version 117.)
Once your Pixel Buds are paired with your computer, go to their website and select them. Pixel Buds can be saved as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
It will then display the battery status of the case and each earbud. With Pixel Buds Pro, you can configure:
Active Noise Control: Off, Noise Cancellation, Transparency Speech Detection Multipoint Touch Control Equalizer
The Advanced settings gear icon at the top gives you access to:
Mono audio volume EQ Volume balance In-ear detection device serial number
Finally, there is a firmware section to update your Google headphones without using an Android device. Expansion beyond Chromebooks to Mac and Windows should make Pixel Buds available to everyone interested.
