Mapping the Marvel universe isn’t something you can do with a snap of your fingers.
First off, there are a lot of Earths in the multiverse. There are also all kinds of mystical dimensions and other weird places. But even just one version of Earth has a ton of interesting places, from the homeworlds of fan-favorite heroes to fictional countries that only exist in comic books. Are you looking for all the Marvel hangouts in New York City? Don’t fret, we’ve got you covered.
Still, Tim Leung has literally put the Marvel universe on the map with his latest collection of cool charts. In his new book, Marvel Super Graphics, Leung has created diagrams of mystical dimensions, an illustration showing the proximity of Kamala Khan’s New Jersey home to Moon Girl’s Lower East Side lab, and even a Mean Girls-style illustration of who’s sitting where in the cafeteria at Empire State University.
But that’s just the beginning: Leon, a former design director at WIRED, also wrote Marvel Super Graphic, which is packed with charts and graphs on various aspects of the Marvel comic book universe. Check out some geography-focused highlights from the book above.
