I think the following sentence says a lot: I opened the box, took out the can opener, wiped it down with a food-safe disinfecting wipe, popped in 4 AA batteries, placed a standard-sized can of chickpeas on the counter, placed the can opener on top of the can, pressed the button, and the can opener started going around the top of the can. That’s it!!! I didn’t have to fiddle with the position. I just had to get the can opener part in place and place it on the lid. No sharp corners, no mess, no hassle.
