Kaspersky Lab and SCOPE Middle East have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen IoT cybersecurity across the Middle East.
The partnership, through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), will focus on key areas such as smart cities, operational technology, oil and gas, energy, and manufacturing, and will focus on the distribution of Kaspersky’s IoT Secure Gateway, powered by KasperskyOS.
Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway (KISG) is a cutting-edge Cyber Immune solution designed to protect data transmission between industrial and corporate networks while ensuring the security of the IoT ecosystem. The solution is available in two modes: router mode, which includes advanced features such as network address translation (NAT) port forwarding and deep packet inspection (DPI) for industrial protocols, and data diode mode, which enables isolated execution of user applications. It works. KISG seamlessly integrates with Kaspersky Appicenter and supports centralized management through Kaspersky Security Center, enabling organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity operations while optimizing network infrastructure costs.
KISG solutions embody the Cyber Immunity concept and IT products are developed from the ground up using Secure by Design methodologies. This approach ensures “inherent” resistance to most cyber-attacks, making Cyber Immune solutions particularly valuable for industries that require stringent cybersecurity, reliability, and predictability requirements. .
As part of the Memorandum of Understanding, Kaspersky Lab and SCOPE Middle East will collaborate on global marketing efforts and share their successes with businesses, governments and academic institutions across the region.

Securing the Internet of Things, especially in industrial environments, is a difficult problem to address. Traditional measures may not be sufficient for IoT protection, so specialized security solutions must be implemented. Cyber Immune solutions allow customers to secure and manage their IoT suites through one central management console. Our collaboration with SCOPE underscores our shared vision to strengthen IoT cybersecurity across the Middle East. It also makes Cyber Immune solutions more accessible to organizations that need to address growing challenges within their critical infrastructure.
Fadi Abuekab, CEO and Founder of SCOPE Middle East
By partnering with Kaspersky Lab, we aim to meet the growing demand for Cyber Immune IoT solutions, which are playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of IoT and cybersecurity in the Middle East. As IoT technologies become increasingly integrated into critical sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and smart city infrastructure, the need for robust, reliable, and secure solutions has never been more urgent. Cyber Immune solutions represent a significant advancement in how to protect these interconnected systems from evolving cyber threats that traditional cybersecurity measures may not be able to address.
Fadi Abuekab, CEO and Founder of SCOPE Middle East
Through this partnership, we will not only strengthen our portfolio, but also bring world-class security technology to our clients across the region, enabling them to reduce risk and protect their operations from cyber-attacks. Digital transformation is progressing rapidly in the Middle East, and with that growth comes a growing attack surface for cybercriminals targeting critical infrastructure. We are working with Kaspersky to ensure that organizations in the region can deploy IoT technology with confidence, knowing their assets are protected by the most advanced cybersecurity measures available today. That’s what I’m aiming for.
