Interplay Learning announced the launch of two new Academy programs: Clean Energy and Solar. Additionally, Interplay’s AI-powered teaching assistant, SAM, is now available in Interplay Academy to provide support and guidance to learners as they learn online. These new capabilities help education and workforce development leaders expand their offerings and leverage AI to improve learning experiences.
Building on the success of Interplay’s existing trade programs, the Clean Energy Academy and Solar Academy offer a wide range of courses to prepare learners for entry-level positions in these rapidly expanding fields. These programs become even more valuable as green jobs have increased by 50% since 2019 and are predicted to continue to trend upwards, according to Lightcast and WorkingNation analysis. Through Interplay Learning’s partnership with CareerSafe, learners can also earn industry-recognized certifications, such as the OSHA 10-hour construction certification, helping them stand out in an increasingly competitive workforce.
Another key innovation in this release is SAM, Interplay’s AI teaching assistant. SAM, short for Skill Advisor and Mentor, takes a unique approach to AI-driven mentorship, going beyond simply giving learners answers that inhibit their learning. Instead, SAM asks questions to provide additional context, helping learners better understand the content while sharpening their critical thinking.
“We’re pleased to further expand pathways to in-demand careers through our new Interplay Academy program,” said Doug Donovan, founder and CEO of Interplay Learning. “The addition of SAM takes our training to the next level, providing a comprehensive solution that meets the needs of both learners and instructors.”
By expanding into clean energy and solar power and adding SAM to its platform, Interplay Learning continues to position itself as the all-in-one solution for professional career readiness. Interplay Academy’s turnkey solution provides accessible training led by experts, preparing participants for better careers and better lives.
