Ingrid Academy has welcomed the first group of 1,000 participants to the ground-breaking Ingrid Scholarship Program.
The initiative aims to address Africa’s technology talent shortage, with an audacious goal of training 4,000 technology professionals each year. Participants will receive training in strategic and in-demand niche technology skills, including Java, Linux, cybersecurity, and data science.
The induction ceremony marked the beginning of a transformational journey for the selected candidates.
Over the next three months, these individuals will undergo rigorous training and mentorship to develop the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the ever-evolving technology industry.
This comes barely a month after a strategic partnership with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was announced.
The Ingrid Scholarship Program aligns with the Academy’s mission to develop talent with critical technical skills.
Mr. Khadijat Abdulkadir, Managing Director; Ingrid Academy “Contrary to popular belief, there are jobs available, but the problem is that there aren’t enough qualified people for the jobs. Ingrid trains people to do these jobs. .”
