The Ingryd Scholarship Programme, supported by LSETF, represents a significant investment of an estimated 3 billion naira. This financial commitment underscores the programme’s focus on developing tech talent and driving development on the African continent.
Known for offering free training in critical technical skill sets such as Java, Linux, cybersecurity, and data science, the scholarship program aims to train 4,000 people per year. The program’s six-month curriculum includes a three-month paid internship, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience and apply their newly acquired skills.
The program will welcome its first 1,000 participants this October, followed by three more over the next 12 months. This phased approach will ensure that each participant receives a comprehensive and effective learning experience.
Technical aspirants who are keen to be part of this transformational journey can apply for the first cohort. The application period will open on September 5 and close on October 5, 2023. Training for the first cohort is scheduled to commence on October 16, 2023.
