BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Bend diabetes specialist Dr. Eden Miller, who has diabetes herself, shares her experiences with new treatments with her patients. She helps ease their tension by telling them about their similar struggles.
Miller, founder of the nonprofit organization Diabetes Nation and CEO of Diabetes and Obesity Care in Bend, is currently talking about Omnipod 5, a new technology that has helped her live a more normal life despite her diagnosis. I’m trying to raise awareness.
Matthew Draxton talks about new technology, how having diabetes is positively impacting his relationships with patients, and how he hopes to change people’s lives for the better. I’m talking to Dr. Miller. They also discuss current data on diabetes and precautions people can take to prevent diabetes.
