This year, energy leaders from across the EU will gather to pave the way for a rapid global energy transition. Join us on October 10th to witness energy innovation in action and collaborate with over 500 experts and thinkers to make the green transition a reality.
Here’s everything you need to know.
When and where will the event be held?
The summit will be held on Thursday, October 10th at Kraftwerk Berlin, a former power plant in Berlin’s Mitte district and part of the city’s industrial history. Built around the same time as the Berlin Wall, the building has since been transformed into an iconic event space in the heart of the capital.

Reception and breakfast open at 8am and the day’s program starts at 9am.

Who is speaking?
The stage will be filled with an incredible selection of change-makers, business leaders and futurists from the worlds of politics, sports, energy, architecture, film and transportation.

Hear from Bertrand Piccard, who made history by completing the first non-stop solar-powered balloon flight. Kevin Magnussen, one of F1’s most experienced drivers, explains the need for cleaner motorsport. Polestar’s Fredrika Claren aims to produce completely climate-neutral cars by 2030. And internationally acclaimed architect Francis Kéré is pushing the boundaries of design with a community-focused, sustainable approach. The event will cover everything from EVs and the future of global transportation to sustainable architectural design and the growing environmental footprint of AI to greening challenges. The presentations range from interviews and fireside chats to panel discussions and keynote speeches.
Also returning this year is Yuliana Onishuk, founder and CEO of Energy Law of the Ukraine Foundation. The foundation is installing solar power on key infrastructure in Ukraine, including hospitals and schools, to protect against power outages caused by the Russian invasion.

A complete agenda and list of speakers can be found on the summit website. The day begins with coffee and breakfast before the stage session begins, followed by a networking lunch and a drinks reception at the end of the afternoon.
During the day, the Waldorf Project, a radical immersive experience, brings VIRTUAL SERENITY, the world’s largest digital empathetic engineering experiment, to the summit stage.
The event, which is expected to fully realize the potential of connected worlds in the Metaverse for the first time, will give 300 strangers the opportunity to participate in a mind-merging consciousness experience. Using bespoke VR technology with state-of-the-art biometric sensors and surround sound, participants will be taken on a journey of deep introspection.
Octopus Energy will also be showcasing its leading renewable and sustainable energy solutions and technologies throughout the day.
