On Thursday, President Trump announced the official Trump Watch Collection in a post on his social media site Truth Social, calling it “truly special” and a “great Christmas present.” The line offers watches ranging from $499 for the Fight Fight Fight in silver-gold tone or red silver-tone to $100,000 for the 18K gold and diamond-encrusted Trump Victory Tourbillon.
In an ad for his most expensive tourbillon watch, President Trump said only 147 would be sold and each would be numbered. He has the first one.
“This is not just a watch. This is one of the best watches ever made,” President Trump said. Each Tourbillon watch features 122 diamonds and approximately 200 grams of 18K solid gold.
President Trump said, “I love gold and I love diamonds.”
A disclaimer at the bottom of the Trump Watch site states that Trump himself has no involvement in the design, manufacture or sale of the watches, and that the watches in the images may not accurately represent what buyers will receive. According to the disclaimer, the watch is “not political and has no connection to any political movement.” According to the FAQ answers, they are just collectible items.
The watch isn’t political, but other Trump-related items are, too. The Trump campaign is selling items such as $40 red MAGA hats, $25 coffee mugs and $24 signs to raise money. Due to high demand for hats, there may be delays in shipping.
The campaign of President Trump’s opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, is also selling items such as $95 aprons and $40 camouflage hats that can be pre-ordered. The campaign sold out of $20 friendship bracelets featuring Taylor Swift.
