Wired For Chaos, a heart-breaking documentary based on the life of one of punk rock’s most infamous figures, Harley Flanagan, will be featured at the DOC NYC Documentary Festival in New York City on November 14th. It is scheduled to be released for the first time.
This movie isn’t about punk rock. This is a story of an extraordinary life and survival against incredible odds and extraordinary circumstances. Wired For Chaos touches on child stardom, trauma, child abuse and neglect, violence, depression, and the rise of a young boy into one of the most ferocious personalities in modern music.
Musician Harley Flanagan burst onto the punk music scene in the late 1970s at the age of 11 as the drummer for her aunt’s New York-based band, the Stimulators, and later went on to found the seminal hardcore act Cro-Mags. did.
