Van Jones, a CNN commentator and founder of Dream Machine Innovation Lab, sees AI as a useful tool, not something to be feared. In this clip from the latest episode of Financial Freestyle with Ross Mack, Jones shares his thoughts on AI.
Jones calls AI a “jetpack” and says, “It can do research. It helps you do research faster. It can write music. It helps you write music faster.”
He acknowledges that some people are afraid of AI. “Now they’re going to say it’s a grenade. It’s going to be racism against you. It’s going to cost you your job,” he says.
Still, he cautions against letting other people’s fears about AI dictate your thinking. “The worst way to think about the future is from fear. You must approach the future from a place of faith, vision, direction, and purpose.”
