Electronics brand Anker may not have the same name recognition as tech competitors like Sony, Bose, Google, or Dyson, but over the years, many of Anker’s products have topped our tests, from charging cables to indoor security cameras, including several products from Anker’s sub-brands Soundcore, Eufy, and Nebula.
“While their products are rarely truly innovative, they are usually less expensive than the better-known brands and perform very well, sometimes even better than them,” said Grant Crowther, senior editor, smart home and audio/visual.
In fact, others on our audio team have noted that some Soundcore headphones can match the noise-cancelling performance of Bose and Sony for about a third of the price.
Anker products regularly go on sale, and according to senior power writer Sarah Witman, not only are Anker products “more beautiful than most tech products,” they often also come in fabric cases and multiple color options (for example, the magnetic power bank we picked comes in sky blue in addition to the standard black and white options).
Some of Anker’s recommendations are so good that we’ve reviewed them twice. For example, the Eufy Indoor Cam C120, our top pick for an indoor security camera, is also our top pick for a pet camera. And the Nebula Mars 3 Air, our top pick for a portable mini projector, is our budget pick for an outdoor projector. Anker’s Soundcore Space A40 earphones were featured as a budget pick in our guide to noise-canceling headphones, but they also came out on top in our testing of wireless Bluetooth earphones.
Here we introduce about 40 recommended Anker brand products, including security cameras and robot vacuum cleaners.
