It seems like new earbuds with longer battery life and more compact designs are coming out every month. So I can’t list all my favorites. However, if you are still hunting, here are some other recommendations.
Sony Linkbuds Fit $200: Sony’s Linkbuds Fit offers rich, punchy sound, a natural transparency mode, and a lightweight, comfortable fit that helps it fulfill its purpose as a “wear-everywhere” solution . Although it has some solid features, the battery life is short at just 5.5 hours on a single charge, and the noise cancellation is okay. Its value is further diminished by its flimsy silicone sleeve and reliance on strangely unresponsive touch controls, but it’s still a Sony product and might be worth catching on sale.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro $100-$200: The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are getting older, but they’re still one of the best earbuds to pair with your Samsung phone. It doesn’t have the multi-device connectivity features recommended for Android users, and its 5-hour battery seems pretty short these days, but it does have great sound quality, IPX7 water resistance, and a distinctive design. Mimics AirPods Pro. Therefore, it is well worth considering selling.
$99 Pixel Buds A-series: This used to be the top choice for most people, but it’s now overshadowed by other affordable options that include noise cancellation and more. If you find it on sale, it’s worth picking up, especially if you have an Android smartphone.
Oneplus Nord Buds 3 Pro $150: These comfortable, lightweight earbuds feature multipoint pairing, making them perfect for people who like to work on their laptop and phone at the same time (7/10, WIRED Recommended) . We didn’t like the control layout and thought noise cancellation would be enough. And design-wise, they’re just another pair of AirPods clones.
Soundpeats Air4 for $80: Soundpeats’ Air4 (7/10, recommended by WIRED) may be an obvious AirPods Pro knockoff, but it’s a very good knockoff for the price. While you won’t get top-of-the-line performance, as well as Apple-exclusive features like Find My support and iCloud sharing, you’ll get great sound and features, including decent noise cancellation, at a steep discount. These aren’t top choices, but they make great budget buys, especially when they’re on sale.
Montblanc MTB 03 $395: These earphones are out of reach for most buyers, but if you have the money, you’ll get a luxury experience worthy of the brand. Montblanc has brought in some of the biggest names in the audio industry to design and voice these new products. The result is wireless earbuds that are small, comfortable, flashy, and sound truly impressive.
Apple/Beats Powerbeats Pro $180: Apple’s rugged Powerbeats Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) offer a very secure fit, much better than Apple’s previous standard AirPods or Beats pair. It delivers great sound and squeezes out an incredible 9 hours of lifespan. Fee. Due to the longer teeth, standard extra features like transparency mode and ANC are omitted, but it may still be worth considering for those who can get a very stable fit. No.
Raycon Everyday Earbuds $80: Loved by YouTubers, these earbuds are actually a pretty cheap pair (7/10, WIRED review). It’s small, lightweight, and IPX6 rated, making it perfect for your workout.
Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport $299: The Sport is a great option with active noise cancellation and a striking design, but its high price tag puts it out of reach for most people.
