Startups aiming to revolutionize artificial intelligence technology and healthcare are some of the hottest organizations out there right now, and many are recruiting for lucrative remote jobs.
Perplexity, an AI-powered search engine headquartered in San Francisco, was named the #1 startup in LinkedIn’s annual analysis of fast-growing and in-demand startups.
Lamp, a New York City-based financial technology company, has fallen from the top spot last year to second place in 2024.
Rounding out the top three is Boston-based Cohere Health. The goal is to leverage AI to streamline processes in healthcare systems, improving both patient care and administrative efficiency.
LinkedIn’s Top Startups list recognizes 50 young U.S. companies on four key metrics. The metrics are: how much the number of employees has increased in the last year, how many non-employees are viewing the page and employee profiles, the increased interest in jobs, and how many. These are hires from other top companies on LinkedIn.
Since the start of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic in 2020, many startups have been founded, aiming to solve problems exacerbated by the global health crisis.
Collectively, these startups represent a huge opportunity for technology employees, especially those with specializations in machine learning. Many companies are looking for talent for business development, social media, marketing, customer support, and in the case of healthcare startups, registered nurses and clinical psychologists.
Here are some of the top 10 startups with high growth and demand, along with their job openings and salary ranges, according to LinkedIn.
